No review or upgrade of electrical safety equipment in 60 years

It beggars belief the number of companies who have not reviewed or upgraded their earthing and short-circuiting equipment for the past 60 years.  In this regard Ireland is the only country in Europe that entrusts the lives of its workers to unproven equipment and which is not manufactured, maintained or used in accordance with any recognised standard.
